| Customer Reviews: Awesome shoes for outdoor adventures January 19, 2010 Micey (California USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of these New Balance Water shoes for myself and my husband for our vacation in Costa Rica. We bought these instead of the typical amphibian shoes from Teva or Salmon because we thought these shoes are more athletic looking. These shoes are comfortable and functional. We wore these for our waterfall rappelling trip and they were awesome! We didn't have to switch shoes between hiking and jumping off the waterfalls. The soles provide good grips on wet rocks. My husband was so impressed by these shoes! Highly recommend it for outdoor adventure trips!
You wear these shoes without socks. They are true to their size so buy the size you would normally get for your tennis shoes.
I <3 these shoes! March 17, 2010 K. Miller (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I couldn't be happier with my new "aqua jogging" shoes. they're so cute and comfy, I'm thinking about getting another pair so I can wear them instead of flip flops this summer. Runs true to size.
Great Water Shoe for Climbing Water Falls June 2, 2010 G. Benjamin (Florida) I bought these shoes to climb Dunns River Falls on my vacation in Jamaica. I was warned by a friend before I left that no matter what shoe I bought, the rocks would be slippery. Well, not so. Everyone else was slipping on the rocks, but these shoes held up wonderfully. There were only two times of the 956 feet that we climbed where I thought the shoes could have had a better grip. Other than that! These shoes were great! Also, I usually wear a size 10 in sneakers and a 9 1/2 in regular shoes. I bought a 9 1/2 in these because they didn't have a 10. Well, the 9 1/2 worked fine. I was able to loosen them up a bit and not lace them so tight. Again, this is was a wonderful product that made my falls climbing experience fun and worry free.
Great water shoe!! September 15, 2009 C. Tessman (Minnesota) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I only wear New Balance shoes so I was very happy to see that they made water shoes. I bought these shoes to wear at the health club when going from the locker rooms to the pool, also for use at the lake for the personal water craft and boat. I think they would be great for running around on rainy days too. My foot is narrow so they do slip slightly on me but with the slip on style it works for me - makes them easier to slip on and off. They are very comfy and a slick looking design (I got the gray color). I have received many compliments.
Not GooD Traction At All--- December 20, 2009 E. allen (United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Used for the -Y- aqua aerobic class, these do slide on pool bottom, but not around locker rooms or shower though, so do be careful. Otherwise, great fit & comfort, and more sanitary than walking barefooted or wearing thongs on your feet. I mostly do deep-water jogging so I don't touch the pool floor much anyway. Fast & free ship thru Amazon which is nice.
