Product Description The Speedo® Vanquisher googles provide a streamlined look with thin, low-profile silicone gaskets. They're set-up with a double silicone headstrap with a back buckle, 3 adjustable nose pieces and hypo-allergenic, anti-fog lenses with UV protection.
Amazon.com Product Description Speedo's line of competition swim goggles are designed for the serious competitor. Made from the highest-quality materials available, the low-profile design of the Vanquisher Swim Goggle will give any swimmer the competitive advantage. The anti-fog, polycarbonate lens is shatter-resistant and is UV protected. The soft silicone lens gaskets sit in a low profile on your face and offer cushioned protection. For a more comfortable swim and to avoid water intake, choose the right size of nose piece from the three provided. About Speedo In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn't take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it's manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange. Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits. Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland's Inge de Bruijn. What's in the Box? Vanquisher swim goggle, three interchangeable nose pieces, printed instructions in English, French, and Spanish Manufacturer Warranty 6-month warranty against manufacturer defect

My daughter LOVES these November 17, 2006 S. Bryan (Smyrna, TN United States) 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
My daughter is on the high school swim team. She has been swimming for about 7 years now. We recently moved and she's attending a new high school. When asked what goggles he recommended, the coach opened his file cabinet and handed us a pair of Vanquisher goggles. My daughter tried them at her next practice and came home from school praising these goggles. She wears contacts in the pool and says that no water gets under these googles. She also said that they are very comfortable. I'm back to buy a couple pair for her younger sister.
UPDATE: My youngest (age 14) loves them too, and my girls never agree!
Good, I enjoyed. June 4, 2006 debu shoo (GA, USA) 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
I used these and I like them. I have a big head, but these still fit! I can see the bottom of the pool with no water leaking into and no fogs. I chose smoky color, so they do not see me, but I can see them. I do not want people to recognize me; when swimming, I am like a hippo bathing after eating full lunch.
Excellent Goggles, really no fogging August 8, 2007 H.P. (Framingham, MA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got them yesterday and was so excited aftering trying them. For the entire 40 minutes of my lap swim, it didn't fog at all, seriously. They snuggled to my eyes tight but did not left any line. I was originally planning on purchasing the Speedo Vanquisher Women but as they don't have the colors I want (I wear contact lens therefore need more color on goggle lens to deflect some light), I went for this model and they fit well. I highly recommend this goggle. The bonus point is with extra nose piece in the case, I was able to replace it on the broken one on my old goggle and it fits well. My previous goggle was made in Japan, non-Speedo brand.
Great competition goggles October 16, 2007 Taen (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have swam competitively for over 10 years and have used several different kinds of goggles. I have always been a fan of Speedo's rubber fitted goggles and these live up to their reputation. The straps work great in spreading the pressure throughout the goggles. The goggles also do not put much pressure on the eye sockets, making it easier to wear for long practices. The goggles also have great design. With just a little moisture, these goggles can stay on with most people's faces without even using the straps. I can assure you that these goggles will please any swimmer, whether they be a novice or expert.
Excellent value for a big head March 21, 2010 E. Pilon (Bellevue, WA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have a huge head -- very large. My hat size is 8 and I have a very hard time finding glasses that fit my face.
So I was a bit concerned that these goggles would fit right. BINGO! I love them. They're comfortable around the eyes and at the bridge of the nose. I would absolutely buy them again.
